In my mind’s eye is always a scene – an evening twilight at the school music building during perhaps my tumultuous final year of high school. On the top floor of the music building, in one of the practice rooms, a girl plays her violin against the backdrop of the setting sun; she creates beautiful melodies that encapsulate all joys and sorrows alike.
